The LFC’s Top 10 Rankings: April 2018 2018-04-14T12:37:25+00:00

Monica literally exploded on to the scene with a performance as powerful as any that the LFC has witnessed. She deftly combined speed and strength in grabbing the vacant title in a match for the history books against Shay 'The Fox' Mazzato [15-5]. The champion has had only one fight in the league, but she fought against and defeated the woman responsible with retiring the former champion Feather 'The Hammer' Hadden [21-1]. Regardless of any misgivings, she does own a skill set that is capable of wreaking havoc in this league. She is training well for her first title defense at LFC 25.

‘The Valkyrie’ is a mainstay of the LFC who has fought in five straight events and has shown a will to win. Her first match was against the champion where she fell short, then she ran into a Wushu nightmare in Andreea 'The Storm' Vladoi [11-4-1], getting the better of her and capturing the European title in the process. With Krav Maga as her calling card, Jolene can take on all comers. She is your number two fighter and battles newcomer C.J. 'Ice Cold' Kellerman [13-3] at LFC 25.

Cali Cat

3. Cali Cat [4-0]

Cali finds herself undefeated at 4-0 and has shown the ability to fight while injured; that in itself is a very dangerous addition to her striking prowess. Cali has the size to dominate and is willing to use her legs to set up the rest of her game. A fight for a championship belt will happen sooner than later for this Californian. It is impossible to ignore a rising star such as her. Unfortunately, for fans of the LFC, she will be absent from the Sam’s Town card.

Michaels possesses the temperament and fighting ability to adapt to whatever comes her way. She bolsters her wrestling style with a very strong leg game. Roxy is getting a title shot at LFC 25 against Garcia and I do not doubt that this confrontation will result in an epic battle to see who wants it more and be crowned the Champion of the LFC.

Andreea is unrelenting in her creativity in the cage. Her fighting style, Wushu, encourages the mentality to improvise and unleash an array of moves that leave the fan/viewer in awe. Her background in artistic gymnastics does not go to waste in the cage, because it gives her a platform from which to execute incredible maneuvers. Her ability to make quick adjustments during a fight makes her a threat to anyone on this list.

Lauren, having opened her LFC career with two controversial losses, is now on a two fight win streak. This brawler is un-afraid to test herself in the cage against any fighter, and a win at LFC 25 is a sure way to move up in the rankings. Fogle, who is returning from a knee injury, is in against the aforementioned Vladoi. So much is on the line here as they battle for a spot in the top five. Will Lauren tame ‘The Storm’ or get swept up in the process?

Parks opened up in the LFC with a submission win vs. a very tough opponent in Jessie 'El Toro' Santos [9-4]. Off that win she was given a title shot against Hadden who was too much for Parks. Her only other fight resulted in a loss vs. the battle tested MaiNe 'Main Event' Morgan [16-2]. Her ranking is partly due to a high level of competition. She needs to get back to winning form if she is going to merit a top ten ranking.

Shay also benefits from having faced the best in the LFC; however, her two LFC fights have resulted in losses. She opened with a loss to a champion, Hadden, and she fought gamely and lost in a fight for the vacated crown against Garcia. Shay can take credit for the early retirement of Hadden in a match that got both bloodied and one having to withdraw from the sport. Because of her well-earned cage cred, she is #8 on our top 10 list.

Serina is a fighter with two wins and one loss. She MMA fighter has traded armbar submissions with Maxine 'The Boss' Frost [1-2] and submitted Danielle 'Cow Belle' St. Pierre [1-2]. I vote for one more match against Frost, even though ‘The Boss’ is far too busy as Prez of the LFC. Kyle is preparing for a rematch vs. St. Pierre at LFC 25. St. Pierre is a quick study and aims to avenge the loss to Serina from their first match.

Santos is a powerhouse who isn’t afraid to take a fight into the trenches. Compiling a 8-2 record at Lencaria FC where she developed a reputation for fighting dirty. Twice suspended for hair-pulling. Santos has been training in Jui Jitsu and Muay Thai religiously. She holds a record of 1-2 inside the LFC and stands at #10 on our top 10 list.

Jenny has gone 0-2 on her LFC run… lets see how she does at LFC25 then maybe she will break the top 10.

Jolene should be ranked higher than Monica because she’s only had 1 fight in the LFC. And I don’t think Shay should be on the list! Although she has had tough fights…

spanman, Monica is the champion… so she deserves to be #1.
