Andreea ‘The Storm‘ Vladoi

Romanian born Andreea 'The Storm' Vladoi (13-4-1) took some time off training to answer questions for the fans. She’s a former Olympian and one of the most exciting fighter in the LFC today, please enjoy the article!

Tell us about yourself?

I’ve been in involved in sports since I was 3 years old (with 27 years of experience). I’ve tried pretty much everything besides rugby & golf. I’m a very passionate person, a few of my hobbies are reading, watching movies, hiking, and traveling. I’m a fitness instructor & professional trainer. I love everything that I do and have no regrets in life!

What interested you about the LFC?

I’ve seen a few videos on Facebook and I liked it, so I started to dig deeper… and then it just happened. I said to myself, why not? So I gave it a shot and it seems to have worked out pretty well, I’m very happy to be a part of this team.

What inspired you to become a fighter?

I’ve been doing martial arts since I was 16, I’ve done most of the styles (karate, judo, ju jitsu, taekwondo, wushu). I started wrestling just a bit before I came to US and currently train in boxing & Jeet Kune Do.

If you could pick any place in the world to have the next LFC event, where would it be and why?

I’ve traveled a lot in my life (almost half of Europe), but there are still a few beautiful places that I haven’t seen, and one of them is Greece. It’s an amazing Country with exotic attractions, I think the people would love us if we held an event there!

How do you keep so fit?

I’ve always trained my ass off. Every time I get the chance and I’m not dead tired with everything else that’s going on in my life (besides the LFC) you can find me in the gym training and doing lots of cardio. I usually don’t say goodbye to the gym unless I’ve been there for at least 2 hours.

How do you feel about your fan-base?

I love & respect my fans, I thank them for supporting me, for following me on social media and being up to date with everything that I do and hope for more of them in the future. I know that the fans are very important in every athlete’s career that’s why I try to interact whenever possible.

Who had the greatest influence/impact in your life?

My mother, she’s everything to me. My father died when I was 8 so she’s been there to play both roles. I was a spoiled kid & I always had what I wanted even if sometimes it was hard for her. She’s my inspiration and I’m the person that you see today, because of her!

What was your favourite match in the LFC?

I’ve had 4 matches since joining the LFC, but if I have to pick one… I’ll probably say my first one against Jolene ‘The Valkyrie’ Hexx, even if it was a draw and then the Bratislava match is my second pick. I like fighting Jolene, because we are both so much alike, we love competition, fighting and giving everything in the cage. We’ve known each other for almost 2 years so I think that helps too, it’s another level of comfort!

What do you do to indulge yourself or unwind after a fight?

I have a switch button (on/off) that usually works pretty well and I believe that when you’re a fighter you should have that. In the cage it’s a different world and we need to turn it off when we are done with the match. Also, hot baths with salt helps me to relax and is great for the muscle and for a good night’s sleep. Makes me feel like new!

What is the craziest thing you have ever done?

To start with, I think being a gymnast is crazy, hard & dangerous, but I’ve done lots of crazy things in my life like being an acrobat. I worked in the circus for 4 years. I’ve done shows where I was doing silk. I had an event for a fashion show where I was on silk at 20-30 meters in the air and models were walking on the runway under me, it was cool experience and gave me the best adrenaline rush!

Which part of your body do you consider most sexy?

I’ve always been proud of my legs and butt and I can see that people seem to agree with me so… I can add my back as well, but in general, I’m super comfortable in my skin and very happy with my body!

If you had to choose, would you be a dominatrix or a submissive? Why?

I don’t think that I have to answer this question because most of you probably already know the answer, dominatrix of course! Why? It’s obvious that I love control, I have a strong personality and I’m too ambitious to ever be a submissive, so dream on! ???
