An Exclusive Fight Preview by A.C. Mann.

Motorcycle enthusiasts from all around the world congregate in Sturgis, South Dakota every year for a ten-day rally that begins on the first Friday of August. This year, the bikers will have LFC 30: Born To be Wild, as one of the go-to events on the itinerary.

Unmistakably, the toughness and beauty of the LFC, will garner its fair share of attention among the steel and leather of the biker lifestyle.

Starting the night off is a clash of newcomers: Brooke ‘The Guillotine’ Gilley (0-0) opens her LFC career against Suzy ‘Stiletto’ Quinn (0-0) in a battle of blank slates. Brooke, with Ju-Jitsu as her discipline, and Suzy with a Grappling background. Both are hoping to break through the ranks of the LFC and find a space in a treacherous terrain.

Apart from similar fighting styles, these two don’t share much in common. Gilley hails from Montana, a long way from Quinn’s hometown of Atlanta, GA. Gilley holds a size advantage in both height and weight with Gilley’s 5’9″, 145 lbs to Quinn’s 5’6″, 120 lbs.

Fate has joined them on the open road to this epic encounter. Is it our natural need to fight? Is it our desire to shine and show the world who we are? We’ll just have to wait and see. But one thing is for certain, they were born to be in the LFC!

Brooke was gracious enough to answer a few questions:

A.C.:

Can you give us a some background on how you joined the LFC?

BG:

I fought Paris in D.C. and she was looking into the LFC. The second I saw what it was I knew I had to try to get involved. I spoke with Michael (Larkin) and Shaun (Donnelly).

A.C.:

How’s your training coming along?

BG:

I’m training 6 days a week and I’m definitely making gains not only in my muscle tone but I’m having faster take-downs and my emotions are waaayyy more fluid.

A.C.:

What LFC fighter stands out to you the most?

BG:

I’m really looking forward to watching Lauren 'The Animal' Fogle [5-4] fight. She seems like a total bad ass!

A.C.:

What fighting style are you bringing into cage?

BG:

I am mostly a jitz (Jiu Jitsu) girl, but I do have a lot of brawler in me! I’m also boxing with a good friend of mine that is a monster power house behind a glove, so I’m looking forward to bringing new boxing skills to the fight.

A.C.:

Any final statements on your much anticipated LFC Debut?

BG:

I’m so excited for the opportunity to fight for the LFC and look forward to bringing beauty, strength, and dominance into the cage.
